He may be a little old but I wouldn't mind bringing in Kareem McKenzie. He'll be a massive upgrade over Clary.

Jeff Otah, picked 19th in the 1st round of the 2008 draft, is a gamble that could pay off. There is a very good chance that he would be an upgrade to Clary, and over time could develop into a LT.

Well, we should all send a message to AJ Smith asking for upgrades to our OT's. I just did.

I'll take any former LEFT Tackle, and insert him immediately on the RIGHT side to replace Clary.

And someone should seriously slip some human growth hormone into Gaither's Gatorade..  The guy needs to stay healthy for crying out loud!

I know a guy who knows a guy........

I thought this would get more of a reaction. Maybe I need to turn it into a thread.

Re: Available OT Free Agents

how many of these guys are still available and who else can we add to the list? Quite obviously, this is priority #1 and we should be looking to hire at least one FA OT before next season, and drafting a few more

Re: Available OT Free Agents

Next year, they can fix it in one year.  Sign Sebastian Vollmer, who will be allowed to leave because of Marcus Cannon, and, sign Andy Levitre to play LG.  Head into the draft and get Luke Joeckel or (more realistic) Taylor Lewan, and whallah!

Lewan LT
Levitre LG
Hardwick C
Vasquez RG
Vollmer RT

That's a respectable OL with the potential to be great, especially if Gruden or Reid are hired and bring in Juan Castillo to coach the unit.

Re: Available OT Free Agents

AJ has fixed it in one year before. Our failure in 2003 was obviously due to our o-line, and AJ completely revamped it before the 2004 season. Brees looked horrible in 2003, and that was with the greatest HC of all time who never lost a regular season game and got us to the playoffs every single season; and that all turned around when the o-line was revamped.

I like your thinking but, being close to the Bills, I can say that it is unlikely that they will let Levitre walk.
