Eagles make a shake-up this week. Should the Chargers?
I just saw that the Eagles fired their defensive coordinator. It's week six and management took a drastic measure for a 3 - 3 team (which has given up less points then us): http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/b...r-juan-castilloAndy Reid (who hired Castillo) said, "We're six games into the season, and average isn't good enough. I know the potential of our team and insist on maximizing it.” So, you're in charge of the Chargers. You can make only ONE move this week. What is it? Is it to fire Norv? Make a trade (if possible)? Sign a FA? Dump AJ? Seeing the Eagles do SOMEthing (which does include admitting a mistake) makes me long even more for some action to be taken.

Your expectations are too high. Come on down from there.

1 thing that will most likely happen, is the rest of the home games will be blacked out. If they are 3-5 at the half point I think we might see some changes.

I don't think so. There's no sense in firing Pagano after the last two blown double digit leads as our defense has at least looked legit at times, which isn't something we could say under Manusky. The only shake-up I want to see is once the Playoffs becomes a pipe dream, Bissachia get a shot at the interim role.

No, not Pagano. In general I've liked the direction he's taking our defense. I meant if you had to do something this week, what would it be. I think it may be time. I don't think firing Norv right now is going to make us better. I think Rivers has a hard time connecting with Maechem, I'd bring in another WR and allow him to compete with Maechem and Royal. I still don't understand what happened to Tutu?

Doing nothing basically insures more of the same, and how many more years do we need? I'll vote we do something, anything to show we have the desire to improve, and not be satisfied with status quo

Oh God no... Bissachia would be a big mistake IMO. I WANT change as well, but I'm not a fan of Bissachia at all. SoCalThrilla wrote: I don't think so. Re: Eagles make a shake-up this week. Should the Chargers?
Should they, yes. Will they? No. Remember, this is an organization that prefers to stay in the comfort zone and HOPE things go well. Only when they are forced into a corner and almost always at the end of the year, will they make changes.
As it is I think they finish 10-6 behind the Broncs 11-5 and close to a wild card berth. That may even be enough to save Turner's job since no one is ever to blame for anything at Charger's Park. And the beat goes on.
CHUCKIE, come to San Diego, the finest city in America, and lead us to the Super Bowl! If you then become an intolerable bully, I'll be okay with that.

The only thing I would realistically consider doing is making some calls around the league to teams with depth on the O-line and trying to parlay a later pick into some O-line help. shoehater wrote: No, not Pagano. In general I've liked the direction he's taking our defense.

No moves. The the Eagles fired their DC not their HC. If you fire the HC, you are pretty much giving up on the season. I am still optimistic that, with our remaining schedule, we can easily end up with 9 or 10 wins. A 9 win team will make the playoffs from the AFC....why not the Bolts.

Apparently we wasn't as great as some thought he was. Nobody wants him. I say sign Plaxico. I like his aggressive attitude. Given the QB play Monday night , firing the QB's coach might send a message to the rest of the team. River's should have been yanked at the end of the 3rd Qtr.
