why?
Why does Rivers draw flags not once but twice while Mannings doing his interpretation of river dance and no flag .the guy was stomping arms flapping head bobbing and he gets away with it because hes an nfl darling.

Re: why?
This is a good point. I thought these calls were ridiculous. MAYBE one. MAYBE. But this became laughable. gcbgcb123 wrote: Why does Rivers draw flags not once but twice while Mannings doing his interpretation of river dance and no flag .the guy was stomping arms flapping head bobbing and he gets away with it because hes an nfl darling.

RE: why?
For all you knuckleheads who think it's rigged:
Why the offensive PI on Decker? All the refs had to do is not throw a flag.
That call gave us a chance. We didn't capitalize.
Seriously, this IS aluminium-hat territory, talking about the refs giving that game to Manning and I feel stupid talking about it at midnight. So just stop. We got beat. It wasn't the refs.
The false starts on Rivers were bad calls, but it didn't affect the game.

kiwibolt wrote: not sulking Moose but you gotta admit that those false starts calls were BS, there was last weeks calls and going back to the Hochuli rule..... I was curious about those calls, for sure. Can't remember (like Gruden) the last time I'd seen even one false start against a QB.
BUT.
So was the "Pass Interference" on Decker. you gotta give me a break. And that resulted in points, which by the way WOULD HAVE SAVED MY FANTASY TEAM, so... yeah.
Sorry, you're not going to get much sympathy here.
You were up 24-0 at half. None of those false starts came in the second half. So what are you complaining about?

RE: why?
i saw Deckers arm come across Casons chest almost as if it was a slight push off before he made the catch HunterSTomlinson wrote: For all you knuckleheads who think it's rigged:

But one thing is sure: If the officiating crew had a Manning-bias, it would not have thrown that flag.

RE: why?
And if they called that all game on a consistent basis, how may offensive PIs would we have? kiwibolt wrote: i saw Deckers arm come across Casons chest almost as if it was a slight push off before he made the catch

Re: why?
Can't blame the loss on the refs, who were bad both ways. The false starts, the Decker PI, and I counted at least 2 blatant holds on Denver's LT that weren't called on one of Denver's td drives, including the touchdown pass play. Gruden was gushing about what a great blitz pickup it was and in slow motion on the left side of the screen, the lt had his hands around the pass rushers neck. The worst call of them all was the offensive PI call though. They could call that 30 times a game.

Re: why?
I didn't see this thread blaming the loss on the PI calls. I thought it was in independent observation. Win or lose those calls were bogus. The PI on Decker was similar to the Gates call last week. But the false start calls were multiple and ridiculous. Nothing to do with the loss. Just a stupid occurrence.

Re: why?
Ya, that's how I see it too. I don't think the refs controlled this game, but they did use this game as an opportunity to highlight their new emphasis on hand and head movements during the hard counts. shoehater wrote: I didn't see this thread blaming the loss on the PI calls.
