Who is your least liked NFL player?
I'm trying really hard to think of someone worse than Cutler, but I really can't.
Total @$$ to his teammates on the field and his coaches on the sideline, not to mention the media.
Hasn't proven $^#& in this league outside of a playoff win against a 7-9 division winning Seattle team at home, not to mention he's a turnover machine.

Re: Who is your least liked NFL player?
I think for me it's Santonio Holmes. All he cares about is himself and is an absolute cancer in a locker room. I swear when he went down with the injury on sunday, it looked like he tossed the ball into the air in slow mo.

Man, that's a good one too. But at least Holmes has been clutch in the biggest game of them all. Cutler will never be able to say that, yet has the same feeling of entitlement as Holmes. I'll give you 3. Tim Tebow, Jay Cutler, Courtland Finnegan...honerable mention to Drew Brees based on what has taken place in the last 12 months alone on and off the field.

RE: Who is your least liked NFL player?
Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum on that one. I love Brees. Wish there were more players like him and PR in the league off the field. I don't mind Finnegan at all. He instigates, but has mastered the art of letting the other guy take the fall for the penalty. I wouldn't mind Tebow if ESPN stopped talking about him in his backup role. I didn't mind watching him last year because how could you not with some of the crazy things that happened when he was on the field. syxwunine wrote: I'll give you 3. Cutler although Cromartie is also a good choice.
CHUCKIE, come to San Diego, the finest city in America, and lead us to the Super Bowl! If you then become an intolerable bully, I'll be okay with that.

RE: Who is your least liked NFL player?
Cutler, Cromartie, Holmes ... all worthy candidates. Brees, though? Why? What did Brees do?
Expect disagreement on this but I'd put James Harrison at No. 1 on the list. Dude refuses to hit clean, whines incessantly, had charges of domestic violence dropped in exchange for going in a program (Pittsburgh justice for roughing up a woman).
Harrison seems to think that just because he doesn't value his long-term health, he should be able to spear and hit in any way he seems fit. And then he whines and whines and whines about the rules all of the other LBs play by. There are plenty of LBs who could do what he does if they didn't care about rules, brain stems, concussions, etc. Harrison encourages a style of play that would make the game unplayable if everyone did it. Says a lot about the Steeler fanbase that they won't disown that POS.

Re: Who is your least liked NFL player?
As far as Teblows goes, I really don't have anything against him. My least liked are those who can't stop salivating over him incessantly with every other comment. Like I said when he finally left college, maybe now I can watch a D3 game involving 2 teams with no connections to Florida at all, and not have to hear a reference (and usually multiple references) to him during even that such a completely unrelated game. Of course, now my native state's home school, OSU, has his former coach, Urban Meyer, so I guess I'm doomed to that torture for the rest of my life .

Everything he's done lately just gets on my nerves...Starting with the classless way he went about getting the passing record last year, it was all about his record, they blew a couple huge leads in the 4th quarter late in the season because they deliberately wouldn't stop passing in the 4th quarter....there was no football strategy, no game preservation, it was pure arrogance and stat padding against bad teams for no other reason than to pen his name in the record books. Why? So he could point to his stats and claim he's the best QB in the league, on the way to raping his own teams salary cap and holding them hostage in free agency with a long training camp holdout. Are you F'n kidding me? And when he's 39 and cooked the Saints will be into him for nearly $30M a year. And he's become somewhat of a media whore as well, showing up on Good Morning America and on late night TV. Then he goes on and on bashing Rodger Goodell in the offseason like clockwork every single week, calling him a liar as if there wasn't actual video proof that Greg Williams wasn't telling his guys to deliberatly injure opposing players FOR MULTIPLE YEARS, after being warned MULTIPLE TIMES. In the court of law maybe the NFL couldn't provide solid enough proof that actual money changed hands (I don't know how he could without a ledger), but that doesn't mean **** to me if players were actually trying to hurt other players to get them out of the game. Excuse my rant, Brees has just become an annoying, pompous, greedy little rat IMHO. I'm happy they're 0-4, and I'd love to see Ingram give Brees a pop in the chops and then stand over him and yell "pay me my money!"

RE: Who is your least liked NFL player?
What wrong with bashing Goodell? He's bad person. Dude destroyed evidence in the Pats thing. Destroyed it! Could go on and on with proof that Roger Goodell does not have the public interest at heart but that's a whole other thread. Tebow would be cool, but he makes God part of his profit. Let's face it, if he wasn't so overt about his religious beliefs, nobody would care much about him. syxwunine wrote:

Re: Who is your least liked NFL player?
Cutler, but only because as a QB he gets so much press. With all of the ego that lives in the NFL, I'm sure there is worse. They just don't get the press.
His teammate Brandon Marshall is a douche as well. Although, he has a mental condition he's being treated for.
Dez Bryant should get an honorable mention, but Jerry Jones pulls the plug on any criticism Dez deserves.
Cromartie is an idiot. He's proof talent isn't an equitable way to measure anyone. If he were measured against almost anyone, without regard for physical gifts, he would come up short.
The theme I'm going for here is, anyone who comes off selfish, narcissistic, uncaring, and has no aspect of team in his nature, doesn't deserve to play our favorite "TEAM" game.

RE: Who is your least liked NFL player?
One of the rare times I agree with Hunter. I have no problem with Brees bashing Goodell because Goodell is a joke. See the handling of the replacement refs and the hypocrisy that Goodell is. He preaches player safety yet wants an 18 game schedule and is willing to put saving a few mil over player safety as we saw with the replacement refs.
