You Still Want Him?

You Still Want Him?

Dion Jordan gets suspended for performance enhancing substances.  I remember many saying they wanted us to trade for him a few months ago.  I'm getting the feeling he is a bust.

I think getting Atta solved that problem
Jordan had surgery on his shoulder before the season last year, and never quite got in sync with the log jam at
DE in Miami, he came into camp this year all' bulked' up, he was probably trying to make up for last year the 'fast'
Way, SHAME!

Depending on what they want, I'd still gladly take him.

HAHA I bet they're cursing themselves for not trading him before the draft!

His trade value just took a major nose dive with this PED suspension. Miami will be lucky if they can even get a mid-round pick for him now. Let him be someone else's problem.

Re: You Still Want Him?

PEDs give a false sense of ability to fans.

Castillo took PED's and that landed him a first round selection and $$$.  He had a good year the first year, but like a deflating balloon, that "false ability" faded quickly.  I think as fans (myself included), we all remembered what he COULD do, and hoped he would get back to that level.  Obviously he never got back to "almost pro-bowl level" of play….  and now he's retired.

Same thing with Steve Gregory, who would NEVER have been a starter for any team without PEDs.

Merriman had some monster seasons on PEDs, but then he quit them….  and I personally think that after taking PED's it leaves you prone to injury.  Merriman's career was cut short due to recurring injury, likely due to his balloon deflating...

I think that Dion Jordan is going to fade away out of the NFL, just like these guys did.

Now that he's on the radar for PED use, he'll be subjected to increased testing, and while some GM's might sign him to a stupid contract, with the HOPE that he'll be what they think he can be, the dollars will never match the level of play on the field.

This will be interesting to watch...popcorn.gif

Excellant takes Doc, Ya, you could see Castillio going down hill year after year, and Merriman, well that cheap shot to the knee didn't helpflushed, with Jordon, it will be interesting it's going the other way, he was already a stud, then got hurt, a year later got popped, hopefully this is his wake up call, because it will result in loss of wages I would imagine.
