Moving on... Cowboys next

Moving on... Cowboys next

Like all of you I'm upset & still shake my head how this franchise loses games. It really is unreal & almost laughable.

The players & coaches will chalk this up as another learning experience. Just dying to see a killer instinct from our coach/team. Blow out somebody by 50 would be awesome wink

Go for it more on 4th down & really short & stop milking the clock in the last trying not to lose or have our D attack attack attack relentlessly. Not this prevent crap that I despise.

Dez Bryant is coming to town. We gave up 130+ to Nate Washington with Locker as his QB. I'm bracing to see what Dez & Romo will do to our so called Defense. Which btw was supposed to be the strength of our team. Our D is really really bad. Even without injuries.

TT, please get this team & franchise right. FIND A KILLER INSTINCT PLEASE!!!

I don't see us beating the Cowboys. I really don't.

Home cooking will help. Titans DO NOT win that game in SD. Cowboys aren't as bad as the Titan's but their better O will balance out with a less stingy defense.

offensively we should be stronger if Fluker and Floyd are back, I hope we get to see the debut of the Butler and Te'o combination next week

I can actually see us winning this game

I need to see who is playing.  Fluker will be back but what about Dunlap, Rhinehardt, Butler ?and well as our injured secondary.  Our mediocre secondary players are injured so we might have to play the pop warner guys.

Re: Moving on... Cowboys next

I say double up on dez and force someone else to beat you.

Not that I think this secondary can handle even a simple double team on one person.

I still don't get how you have former Arizona cardinals staff members in SD and not reach out to Kerry Rhodes. At least as a one year rental til taylor is healthy.

Sad to know that stuckey hasn't shown the potential to be that starter.

I also chalk some of the secondaries early woes up to them not being very familar not only with each other but with the PlayBook itself.

If the Bolts can play the ball control game but continue to play to win rather than play not to lose like they did today, they will likely take this game.

I gotta give Ryan mathews some props here though. Yeah he didn't have a huge game but he got some tough yards and played hard and held on to the darn ball rather than folding up in a corner.

Romo will carve up the secondary next week. The only way they stay in this game is if they match the Cowboys offensively. it looks like it will be like that every week at this point.

The Chargers have a Chance to win any game they are in but will still lose most of them because they are and always will be "The Chargers".. That being said I believe The Chargers will turtle at the end of the game again and give Romo enough time to drive 99 yards on the last drive of the game and win with 3 seconds on the clock..

I know our Hawaiian friends on this board will get mad at me but Teo seems to be really soft. Has he ever heard of the term "man up"?

Ouch!  I'll go even further and say that he looks a little scared and intimidated.

I'd love to think he's going to come out and be the best LB in the league, but lets get realistic , he hasn't played yet.. there may be a learning curve here, he's not going to singlehandedly turn this into a top 5 defense.

Sure, I want him to play too, but realistically? Its going to be a long season, so I'm just going to enjoy what I can, hopefully forget the gut wrenching losses, expect to be better each week.

Losing to the boys?  I sure hate when that happens, but I'll get over it, eventually

He's been proving people wrong every time he's been doubted & been called worse through his ordeal. He's never folded while the nation makes fun of him on TV, radio, talk shows, skits etc... Most would have caved in. He's as tough as they come.

Let him play...

I'm offended that SF would only think Hawaiians would be offended. He grew up in the 808, but the kid is as Samoan as they come.

And before we get all apologetic, I was only kidding about being offended.

This could be an ugly loss.  I'm not sure how we stop Dez Bryant.

I think the only way is if we blitz the sheite out of the 'Boys with very creative blitz packages.  Romo can choke if he's under pressure.

Dallas has a good defense as well, so we'll see.
--------------
Ford + Attaochu + Ingram + Freeney = Improved passing defense

How about one of your Haole friends getting mad at your for calling Teo soft because he is injured with a foot injury. rolleyes I am sure you never played any high level sport to know how limiting foot injuries are.

Re: Moving on... Cowboys next

Thank you!!

It doesn't have to be high level, it's anything that requires using that injured foot. Because your foot hurts your body naturally compensates & next thing you know another body part is achy. You lose more than a step & unable to do things you used to do. That's extremely frustrating.

I played SS in softball. Now it's more 3B because I'm unable to get to balls in the hole & up the middle that I used to. My arm is still great, but my feet are of a 60+ yr old. THAT REALLY REALLY SUCKS TOO

Manti is young & SMART enough to know it was best to shut it down so long term he'll be better off. Naturally some of you are impatient. Think, what if it was you & your career?

I expect a BS response, but I'll be amused biggrin

Re: Moving on... Cowboys next

you are right slammer, I never played college ball so I wouldn't know how to perform at a high level and suck it up for the team. I guess serving in the U.S. special forces doesn't count as high level training. None of special forces guys who have actually trained to deal with any injury while on the call of duty and still keep moving can hold a candle to a bunch of overgrown boys who play with leather balls for a living.

It would be unheard of for one of my guys to sit out 7 weeks because his foot hurts. A foot sprain would buy you a week or two max before you would be back running 6 miles a day. But I'm sure in the end I know nothing of HIGH LEVEL physical activity.. Thanks for the reminder slammer8bored1
