Chiefs vs. Eagles TONIGHT

I'll be watching.  Can the Eagles rebound??  It might be a good sign of things to come in this division, if the Chargers can best the Eagles, and the Chiefs can't.

C'mon Eagles

I find it absolutely ridiculous that the Chiefs are rated higher then the Bolts on Madden 25

Eagles should be up by at least 17. Fumbles in the redzone, ST gaffes, Vick telegraphing ...

The Eagles have 200 yards rushing before the end of the 3rd and they have 9 points ...

I doubt it. It's a soft 3-0, Jaguars, 1 pt win over Dallas, and the Eagles who have played 3 game in 11 days and had four fumbles in the game and Alex Smith didn't throw for a single TD.

I'm just not impressed.

So I pick the Eagles in pick em,  our rival KC is now 3-0 and the way the Eagles looked it made our Chargers win against them not as special.  barf.gif

Chiefs were lucky this Chip Kelly offense sucks, really trying to go for a 2 pt conversin after your first TD? WTF!? Last week when hes calling timeouts for us!? Get that college shyte outta here

I wasn't too impressed with the Chiefs, they knew how to play DeSean and that offense after our game and their offense wasn't too spectacular
Rivers will rip em a new one when we play them

Hate to admit it but had picked up Chiefs D in a few fantasy leagues before this game.eek The Chargers are going to have their hands full when facing this D. Both the Chargers O and D will need to be hitting on all cylinders to hang with what Chiefs are getting done.

Chiefs vs. Eagles Recap: Simply Put, KC 3-0

It wasn’t a pretty NFL game but in the end the better team won Thursday night. In defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 26-16, the Kansas City Chiefs move to 3-0 and lay claim that 2013 could become something special. Read More...

I don't see three AFC West teams making the playoffs. Not with Miami/New England, Baltimore/Cincy and Houston/Indy out there. That being said, the Chargers will have to finish above Kansas City to get into the tournament. The head-to-head games with the Chiefs will be big-time affairs.

Re: Chiefs vs. Eagles TONIGHT

My main comment on that game was that it looked like it was fixed.

Plain and simple.

Honestly, you can't do what that Eagles offense did its first two weeks, and then come out and flat out GIVE the ball to the Chiefs left and right.  And that is exactly what happened.  Honestly, the Chiefs did nothing to create all those gaffes.  Nothing.  They were just GIVEN to them.  It was like watching a WWE script.  Or an NBA game.  And the fact that the Chiefs weren't ahead by 30 at some point in that game is telling, too.

There are a lot of half-complete teams in the league this year, including the Bolts.  Either those teams' offenses are very good, and their defenses stink, or vice-versa.  With KC it's easy to see.

Defense good.

Offense bad.

The main element of the Bolts/Chiefs games this year will be which one prevails - the Chiefs' top notch pass rush, or the Bolts' pass protection.  It will be interesting to see what, if anything, McCoy and Whis can/will do for that matchup.

Well, they have a pretty easy schedule.

Lot of their tough games are at home, and they get Cle/Buf as common opponents but Buffalo has looked pretty decent so far despite missing Byrd and Gilmore.

That said, i pretty much agree.

But their defense is good, the offense is so predictable, bunch of dink and dunk stuff.

They MIGHT sneak into the playoffs but not much after that.

What happens when they eventually turn it over, and get down 10+ points, and are forced to pass the ball.

Be specific (do you know what that word means?).  Point out what, in my post, was wrong, and explain, specifically, why.

See, very simple task wink.

3-0 and we are suppose to kiss the ring? Other than congrats on the 3 wins I don't see what more props they deserve. No team is above being criticized though. Not even 3-0 ones.
It's not about how many times you get knocked down.  It's whether or not you are willing to get back up.

Props to the Chiefs.  They have a legitimate team this year.  My two fantasy defenses are now Denver and Kansas City.  A lot can change with a good coach and a good QB (not excellent, but good).
Expand CFB playoffs to 8 teams!

Who isn't giving them props?

Their defense is good, as many have said, but on a different note, that offense is putrid.

It was a good win but KC did NOTHING to force the muffed punt or botched snap.

They still almost lost despite Philly gift-wrapping them that game.

What happens when they are eventually forced to pass and play catchup when they get down by 1-2 TD's?
