The owner was a real cheap SOB...I lived in Miami as a kid and went to all their home games. Everyone knew Shula did the best with what he was given. If you look back, all of Shula's teams played hard and were always good. He never, ever had a bad team. That says alot about him. Shula was a no non-sense type of coach. If a player made an absolute bonehead mistake, he would grab them when they got off the field by the face mask and bench them for either a half or full game. Dude was good and he was tough.
