According to Mel Kiper, if the draft were tomorrow...

According to Mel Kiper, if the draft were tomorrow...

the Bolts would take Tyler Eifert.  Not a bad player, but I could think of several people I would take above him: Warmack, Jarvis Jones, Mingo, T'eo, Joeckel, Lotulelei, Keenan Allen...

He is a nice player... But we don't need a TE in the 1st

Yeah, someone tell Mel to lighten up on the hair spray.  The fumes are starting to mess with his thought process.

Then again, I'm sure he's using AJ Smith logic to predict his draft choice. noidea

winkYoufrickinguy! Hilarious. Not many people know what an oxymoron actually is.

These guys wouldn't be on the board, less than 5% chance.   But I agree I'd take Lewan, Banks, Milliner, Montgomery, Bradley ROBY (hell yes if he declares), Fisher, Matthews etc... and so on well before Eifert.

I really like Eifert, and I think he has Gronk like potential in the right offense, but Gates is not done yet, Rosario and Green are good young prospects, and we have much bigger issues.  Dumb pick by Mel Kiper.

LT or CB in the first round.

Love Eifert and his ability to fight for jump balls like a great WR (along with all of his other top-tier TE receiving skills), but this would make no sense.

LT or CB, obviously, but I agree with the idea that if Te'o is available we take hum just for the value.
