Hillis redeemed???

Hillis redeemed??? Post Rating (4 votes)

Wow, Hillis gets two touches after a month in coach snot-nose's dog house for 1 KOR fumble. Funny how their superstar #1 pick can put the ball on the carpet every week and coach kiddy says "We have to keep working with him..." Typical of every coach and scout in the NFL and Div I FB. Let's face it. Denver could and and probably should have deleloped an offensive strategy around the running of Hillis. His power, speed, vision and overall versatility would have served them well in a ame like last week's. But no...afterall, he's an overachieveing white guy so he can't be a feature back. Really? we'll let's just watch Knoshawn (SP???.) keep coughing it up each week and being rewarded with more carries!  After this season Hillis should walk and talk to every coach and GM honestly about who would give him a real shot to start at RB but I doubt any of them have the stones! If Shanahan get's hired in Washington next year, perhaps Hillis can sign with him again and change his number to 44 (I'm sure Riggins would let him have it for a few seasons).

Takes a special kind of moron to be this stupid and ignorant and racist.

If I understand your viewpoint, the reason Hillis isn't starting at RB is because he's white.  Is that so?

Wow...just wow. That wasn't the only reason he sat. He also committed a stupid penalty on a KR and who knows what his work ethic has been like...maybe he's been slacking in practice or just has a personality conflict with the coaches. Playing the race card...really?

Re: Hillis redeemed???

haha nice first post. Many of us here have been scratching out heads as to what happened to Hilis. Last year/ the way McD was talking about him preseason, I thought he would be a centerpiece in on most downs. And I said the same thing earlier that his physicality would have made a huge impact in the Balt game. But is he sitting because hes white? hahaha NO.

And heavan forbid a coach try to instill confidence in a young, high priority player when he struggles his first year. Good thing you weren't Peyton Manning's coach his rookie year. He never would have played again. I agree with some of what your saying with Hillis, but the way your saying it is ridiculous

Yea, I agree with this dudes idea, but not his attitude.

Hillis is a 2nd year player, almost as in need of development as Moreno.

I do think this game is a perfect example of someone of Hillis's skill sets can benefit us....

I hope we decide to use it instead of parting ways with him.

RE: Hillis redeemed???

The key to controlling Knoshon's fumbles is to not throw to him. I believe (I could be wrong, though) that all of his fumbles have occurred after he has caught the ball, not on running plays.

"Hillis missed today's practice, listed as "not injury related""  From Frank Schwab's Twitter.
