Auburn CB arrested for Drug Possession

From ESPN.  I hope they suspend him for the first game of the season.

"Auburn
cornerback Jonathon Mincy was arrested and charged with second-degree marijuana possession on Friday.

Mincy was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in Abbeville, Alabama, for allegedly speeding prior to the arrest, according to a member of the Henry County Sheriff's Office, who was not authorized to provide any further.

Mincy, a three-year starter at cornerback for the defending SEC champion Tigers, was named in May to the 2014 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, which recognizes a defensive player who makes the biggest impact on and off the football field.

A senior from Decatur, Georgia, Mincy finished last season with 56 tackles and one interception. He was second on the team with 14 pass breakups."

This is a great opportunity for Gus to get one of the bad boys into his "Boys Town".

Hendrix College clearly prepared young men for life's challenges better than Auburn University.  One of the first maxims of adulthood:  Never speed when smokin weed.

In an totally unrelated story, the arresting officer has been fired. The chief of police only whispered WDE as he escorted the former officer, sporting a hat with an a skewed "A" from the station.

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

At least he wasn't drinking beer.

What in the heck is "second degree" marijuana possession? Was he not inhaling? Did someone else have the blunt?

He had a designated toker.  That's the problem with these straight laced types.  They don't understand that getting high requires strict adherence to the posted speed limit.

And that DOESN'T mean driving 10MPH. (rated pg-13 for mildly offensive language)

I hate generalizations and stereotypes...even when I do it.

"College football players are college kids, and college kids smoke pot." (not all of them)

Well, the fact is that it is not legal. I do agree that Tylenol is probably worse though.
