"And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no."

Okay, I know mine is two verses, but to quote either without the other wouldn't make a lot of sense:

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, or any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

I like that one too.

John 15:13      Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends .

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball.  I'll tell you what I do.  I stare out the window and wait for spring.

That's actually rather tame. You need to read Ezekiel 23.

Re: Favorite Bible Verse

I actually taught Ezekiel 23 once to a class of freshman boys. I didn't feel comfortable actually assigning the passage for them to read as homework, so I told them instead: "Under no circumstances are you to read chapter 23 of Ezekiel. You're not old enough."

As I recall, only one kid in the class didn't read Ezekiel 23 that night.
