Votto is out for 3-4 weeks, minor knee surgery. Wonder if he will be back in time for the next time the Cards invade Cincinnati for a three game set at Great American in August?
Speaking of which, Arizona has five (5) runs through three innings already at Cincy. We couldnt hit squat there, and they already have five runs in three innings.

Not much life in this game thread. Same way with the Redbirds offense. No runs through three innings so far in this one.
No score in the last of the 3rd.
