If Ollie gets this built by 2014, we should name it after him.

Sounds like the plan is for a multipurpose stadium, I love Luck's foresight. Not only is he filling a sports need, he is building a facility that could be used for Woman's Softball and Concerts. I would bet he plans on this place making WVU money, not just filling a need.

There is nothing better than Tailgating and WVU Football.

If we get a softball team, I hope they convert Hawley, not mess up a brand new baseball stadium with two sets of infield lines and mounds etc.

The plans are for all synthetic turf, so it can be set up how ever it is needed and will not mess anything up.

You are kidding, right? A softball pitcher's circle "cut-out" would be 1/2 way between the baseball mound and home plate and would look like heck, not to mention the base cut-outs. The temporary 200' fence would look cheap. Let softball share the women's soccer practice facility since the WVU boys soccer team doesn't get to use it. Title IX cuts both ways, or should.

The new synthetic fields and stadium designs are set up for multi purpose so none of the uses takes away from the other. The more uses that OL can get out of the facility the more likely it can actually pay for itself or make a profit, we all know that if it is just built for mens baseball, it will just perpetually lose money.
