How many points well Tirner get while Kyries hogs the ball. That the problem on offense. Kyrie is all about Kyrie and dribbling. He needs to learn to play point up to his ability. You can trade Dion but I do not think your getting Turner. Rubio ate Kyrie's lunch yesterday.

LeDouche probably talked to Kyrie during the summer and told him it's ok to dribble the ball for 22 seconds and then jack one up cause that' what i did when i was there Brown don't care

Re: Trade Dion Waiters for Evan Turner

I agree that the problem is not with Dion, it's with Kyrie.

If Lebron and Wade can coexist and dominate, then so can Kyrie and Dion. In fact, having two guards who can create their own shot is much harder to defend and helps the team if they each are doubled up (since no one person can stop either from reaching the rim) and can then pass to the open man. But Kyrie likes to take on three trees and take a wild shot at the basket and either turn the ball over or get it blocked.

Dion's game has been remarkably improved over the last handful of games. In fact, I think he has played better than Kyrie.

Re: Trade Dion Waiters for Evan Turner

Personally, I'd like to know what's being done to help them co-exist and learn to play off each other. It's a lot easier to stay patient when you know there's a plan, you can see the player's trying to execute it, and you can see some progress.

After getting diced and sliced by the Spurs, Nene accused his Wizards teammates of playing stupid and selfish - and it seemed mostly aimed at John Wall. He says his players are more interested in their stats than sharing the ball. That they aren't bother to play D.

I'd be surprised if a MB team decended to the finger pointing stage ... they need to work out their problems in private, and there's not much we can do than look for progress.

Turner for Waiters would be a great deal.  Turner has better ball skills than Waiters IMO and is a much better all around ball player.  Plays defense, and Mike Brown could play Turner at SG easily.

I would trade Waiters and a 2nd for Turner if that is what it took.

I think Turner and Iriving would co-exist well because Turner looks to set up teammates too and can handle the ball and let Kyrie play off the ball at times to get open shots.

Never argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

There is no way Philly would trade Turner for Waiters.  Dion is nowhere near the player that Turner is.  I'd love to trade Waiters in some sort of package for Turner.

I'm not convinced Turner is worth it (lots of players have managed to string together 10 good games before regressing back to where they were, and he still can't shoot a 3 reliably) but if he was, this is one of those cases where you might have to seriously overpay and give up Dion and Bennett.

With MCW out hurt, Turner has already regressed some. There's no rush here. Turner's value is going to drop, our guys can't get any lower, and he's going to be an unrestricted FA. So if he's the best SF available to us this summer, we can make a bid, and get him for nothing.

Well they better trade him or they will lose him and get nothing in return because unless I missed it the team hasn't offered him a contract to his liking and he will be an UFA at season's end.

In the end our only regrets are the chances we never took.

RE: Trade Dion Waiters for Evan Turner

Kind of funny. After Turner's 2nd season, he was being labeled as a bust. His numbers were not impressive at all. And he was the 2nd pick in the 2010 draft. Last year (3rd season), he looked like things were beginning to click.

Ric Bucher Says Scouts, GMs Have Irving-Waiters as Top Young Backcourt

Why Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters Are the Backcourt of the Future

Waiters and Irving already average 38.3 points per game, which is better than any starting backcourt in the NBA. Their assist and steals totals have continued to improve, while their turnovers are starting to decrease.
