WVU coach Huggins needs help to win a $100,000 donation for cancer research at WVU.s Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center. The prize money would go to the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Research Endowment Fund, which he established in memory of his mother who died in 2003 following a long battle with colon cancer

Huggins is one of 48 top college basketball coaches in the nation participating in the Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge.

Huggs is in a battle in the East region with Kentucky’s Calipari. Seems every time we close the gap Calipari tweets his 1 million followers and post on his face book page with 350,00 followers to increase his lead. We are out numbered, so I came on here to see if we could get some support.

I lost my mother to breast cancer metastasized to bone cancer.  Im also of the opinion that the government is in no hurry to find cures for these terrible diseases.  Just think of how many cancer clinics there are out there.  Every hospital usually has a full floor dedicated to just cancer patients.  Furthermore, there are entire cancer "hospitals" on top of that.   You have a shot at beating cancer with chemo and radiation.  It isn't guaranteed.  Its a crap shoot.  Thats a hell of a lot of money for the pharmaceutical giants and the FDA.  We all have Social Security numbers.  We are just a number people. 


Even if a fail proof cancer treatment is ever discovered, I doubt it will EVER make it past the FDA.
